Cal "highwire" Brennan
Tenor Harmonies / Rhythm Guitar
Age 23
Eager, slightly nervous energy that flips to pure joy once the first chorus hits. Loves the high harmony more than the spotlight — he lives for the moment his third locks over Frankie and Vince and the crowd whoops. Quick with a joke in rehearsal, focused and slightly wide-eyed on stage.
Backstory
Irish-Italian kid from Kensington who learned guitar from his older sister's rock-and-roll records and sang tenor in the parish choir. Bumped into Frankie and Vince outside a diner where they were working out a bridge; Cal hummed the missing high line without being asked. Frankie hired him on the spot. Still the youngest, still the one who stays late to nail the blend.
Gear
1950s Gretsch Synchromatic archtop (sunburst), heavy picks, clean tone through a small tweed-style practice amp for rhythm chop and chord stabs.
Visual Identity
Slim wiry frame, about 5'9", sandy blond hair in a loose duck's-ass comb with a slight wave, bright blue eyes, light freckles across the nose, clean-shaven. Wears a mint-green short-sleeve button-up with the collar up, black trousers, and white buck shoes. Thin black necktie loosened at the knot and a plastic comb always peeking from the back pocket.
