Jonny "Chrome" Keller
Lead Vocals / Rhythm Guitar
Age 29
Magnetic and slightly cocky, Jonny runs the stage like a ringmaster who also happens to be the main event. He grins through every shout-along, egging the band and the crowd into one continuous rush, but offstage he's methodical about setlists and arrangements — the greaser showman with a bandleader's brain.
Backstory
Raised in Frayser by a mechanic dad who blasted Carl Perkins on the shop radio, Jonny learned three-chord magic on a pawn-shop acoustic before graduating to a hollow-body. He cut his teeth in bar bands around Beale Street, then pulled the Cats together after a chance all-night session where the chemistry was too loud to ignore.
Gear
1957 Gretsch 6120 hollow-body (orange stain), Fender Super Reverb with light slap-back tape echo.
Visual Identity
Lean and wiry, about 5'11", with a sharp jaw and a permanent half-smirk. Jet-black hair slicked into a high pompadour with heavy sideburns; dark brown eyes; clean-shaven except for a thin shadow by showtime. On stage he wears a black leather biker jacket over a white tee, cuffed dark jeans, and polished oxblood engineer boots. Signature accessories: a thin silver chain, a chrome cat-head belt buckle, and a red bandana stuffed in his back pocket.
