Duke Harlan
Lead Guitar / Backing Vocals
Age 27
Flashy fingers, dry wit. Duke is the Cat most likely to throw a grin mid-solo and the least likely to miss a cue. He thrives on trading licks with Jonny and pushing tempos right up to the edge of chaos without tipping over.
Backstory
A Nashville transplant who bounced from country session tryouts to rockabilly after realizing he preferred grit over polish. He learned by slowing down Cliff Gallup and Scotty Moore records on a thrift-store turntable. Met the band when Vince dragged him to a garage rehearsal; his first take on a double-stop break sealed the gig before the song ended.
Gear
Gibson ES-295 goldtop hollow-body, Fender Bassman '59 reissue, light spring reverb and slap delay for that arched-top snarl.
Visual Identity
Slim and angular, about 5'10", with long fingers and a restless stance. Dirty-blond hair in a loose, slightly messy quiff; ice-blue eyes; light stubble along the jaw. Wears a burgundy bowling shirt with contrasting white piping, black slim jeans with a chain wallet, and scuffed black Chelsea boots. Accessories include a silver hoop in the left ear and a vintage wristwatch on a brown leather strap.
